We’re going for a low-acid, heavy-bodied coffee with this Colombia/Guatemala blend. Of course, this blend makes darn good cup of espresso, but if you like cold brew, this is also a great choice. Brewing coffee using the cold brew method already suppresses the acids in the coffee beans. Additionally, Antigua, Guatemala is known for producing low acid coffees. And while Colombia is not generally known for producing low acid coffee beans, we chose this one to blend because it has a heavy mouth feel and doesn’t water down easily. Plus, it complements the already rich chocolate and lemony notes of the Antigua flavors.
